Whoever said parenting comes naturally never had kids.

On the contrary, like with any job, parenting requires education, on-the-job training, and support. At times, we may not feel like we are the best equipped to handle certain situations and our confidence in parenting plummets.  I've often wondered why we need a license to drive a car but are allowed to walk out of the hospital with a living test, certification, proof of skills or knowledge needed...and no instruction manual either.

A parent consult is time to seek guidance, tools, and/or strategies, to help your child and family thrive.

Common Themes:

  • Improving routines (morning, bedtime)

  • Reducing arguments

  • How to model skill building

  • Building meaningful connections with your child

  • Sibling rivalry

  • Working with your child's anxiety and fears

  • Parenting as a team

  • How you can help your child regulate their emotions

  • Regulating your own body and emotions

  • How to parent an ADHD child

  • Advocating for your child

  • Getting through transitions

  • Dealing with trauma

Whether you're navigating a specific parenting issue, seeking strategies to improve communication with your child, or looking for reassurance and encouragement, this is your time for personalized guidance and support.  My goal is to empower you with the knowledge, skills, and confidence you need to fulfill the role of parent to the best of your ability.
